The Assam government has launched another scheme from January 1, 2026. The benefits of this scheme are for school girls.
The Chief Minister of Assam has announced a scheme for female students starting January 1, 2026. However, female students will not receive this scheme. This scheme is only going to benefit female students from poor families, and this is one of them. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also said that the benefit of this scheme will be that male children from poor families, i.e., boys, will not face any difficulties in their education and will also reduce the worries of their parents .In the case of male students, the Chief Minister of Assam takes 50% of the warden’s allowance. In the case of female students, a monthly water supply scheme is provided .This scheme is only for government schools, not for private schools.
