A disgusting incident occurred at the KM brick kiln in Bardhampur, Nagaon. Child laborers were employed, flouting the Child Protection Act. Many children have been employed as laborers for a long time under the protection of the KM brick kiln owner. It is noteworthy that after the presence of journalists at the kiln, the Nagaon District Child Protection Officer arrived and was successful in rescuing one child laborer, while the others escaped.
