A horrific road accident occurred in Nalbari . The motorcyclist, along with two others, was severely injured. According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle struck a pedestrian while traveling. Four injured individuals were admitted to the Mukalmua Sub-divisional Hospital. The accident took place near Barkheshri Santipur in Nalbari. It was reported that the vehicle was coming from the Guwahati direction and the accident occurred while it was heading towards the Dolahal-Barpeta direction. The vehicle’s registration number was AS 15 AD 9747.
The person struck by the vehicle has been identified as Bashir Ali, a cloth merchant from Kekankuchi village. Meanwhile, the youth sitting pillion, identified as Jagir Ali, and the motorcyclist (whose identity remains unknown) were also critically injured. Bashir Ali passed away while being transported to the Mukalmua Sub-divisional Hospital with the help of locals. Dolahal police arrived at the scene and took control of the situation.
