A major fire accident occurred at Dalgaon No. 3 Chiknamati . According to local public suspicion, the cause was an electrical short circuit. The affected families report that the fire caused damages worth approximately 10 lakh rupees.
The incident took place at the residence of a person named Mustafa Hussain. The fire department eventually arrived and extinguished the flames. According to the victim, who belongs to Golanmastaba village, the fire was triggered by an electric short circuit. The fire first ignited a stack of straw kept near the house and then spread to the building. While a concrete structure (pucca house) on the premises was saved, a nearby mud house was completely engulfed and destroyed by the fire.
