A severe fire incident occurred in Nagaon city. A Tata intermediate vehicle was reduced to ashes at the Ratnakanta Barkakati Playground in the city. The vehicle, which was loaded with catechu (Khair), caught fire. According to local residents, the fire was ignited due to the catechu. During the incident, Agniveers (firefighters) arrived at the scene and successfully extinguished the flames.The vehicle’s registration number was AS02C3288. The occupants were traveling from Karbi Anglong towards the Sotia-Juria direction. Local police arrived at the site to bring the situation under control.
