A terrible fire broke out in Turunjad, Ward No. 5, Golaghat. The blaze erupted at the residence of Minu Karmakar, completely gutting the house and reducing all household belongings and valuables to ashes. By the time the firefighters arrived and managed to douse the flames, everything had already been destroyed. According to sources, the incident occurred around 8:00 PM. Local residents also joined efforts to extinguish the fire. It is suspected that the fire was caused by a short circuit.
