The farming community in Nagaon is in a state of chaos due to the terror of cattle thieves. In the last few days, more than fifty cows have been stolen from Nagaon’s Gomotha village. The thieves have been stealing cattle directly from people’s homes. According to local residents, these thefts have been occurring continuously for several days, with the thieves gaining entry by breaking the locks on their house gates. Meanwhile, the police have remained unsuccessful in apprehending the culprits.
