A theft occurred near the Maha Mrityunjay Temple in Bherberi, Nagaon, where a gold chain was snatched from a devotee’s neck. Two individuals on a motorcycle executed the robbery near the Maha Mrityunjay Trishna Hotel.Personnel from the Puranigudam Police Station arrived at the scene shortly after. According to the victim, an elderly woman named Lilavati Das who had come to visit the temple, the incident happened as she was boarding a bus after eating at the hotel. Two men on a bike sped past and snatched the chain from her neck.
