A horrific accident occurred at New Market in Rangia, located on the Bhutan International Highway. A high-speed luxury XUV rammed into a passenger tempo heading towards Tamulpur from behind. As a result, several passengers, including the driver’s children, were seriously injured. Both the driver and the passengers of the vehicle sustained injuries during the incident. Following the crash, local residents admitted the injured individuals to the hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the XUV responsible for the accident fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. According to eyewitnesses, the XUV was speeding excessively when it struck the tempo from the rear.
