An attempted theft occurred at a mosque in Juria on the first night of Ramadan. The thief was caught red-handed by the local public. The incident took place at the Melekading Rural Mosque in Juria, where the individual tried to loot money by breaking open the mosque’s donation box. The suspect has been identified as a youth named Saidal from Silamoni, Nagaon. Local residents caught him in the act while he was breaking the donation box and immediately informed the Juria Police. According to witnesses, the incident occurred at approximately 12:45 AM. Although the public caught him at the scene, the suspect has not yet confessed to the crime. Reports suggest that similar theft incidents have occurred in the area previously.
