Riotous behavior by miscreants occurred at the residence of Samaguri journalist Nayanmani Bora. A fire was set in the cowshed and a bottle filled with petrol was thrown into the courtyard. Following this incident, an atmosphere of chaos and insecurity spread through the journalist’s family. During that time, the police arrived. According to the household members, he was using his mobile phone at night and suddenly saw a light burning outside; when he went out, he saw a fire burning in the courtyard, after which he extinguished the fire. The police arrived at the scene and began an investigation into the matter.
