Another incident of theft has occurred in Biswanath. A group of thieves teamed up to steal a goat. During the incident, local residents witnessed the theft in progress. The locals gathered and tied the thief to a tree. Meanwhile, the Biswanath police arrived at the scene and began questioning him, leading the thief to confess everything. Subsequently, the police apprehended three more individuals involved.The thief has been identified as Zubeir, a resident of Ulubari under the Morigaon Police Station in Morigaon district. According to the thief’s statement, they were working on construction at the Adarsha Mahavidyalaya in Biswanath. Locals claim that many goats have been stolen in the past, but the thieves’ luck ran out this time. The police have since taken them to the Biswanath Police Station for further investigation.
