A horrific road accident occurred at Kasarigaon in Puranigudam, Nagaon. A high-speed i10 car rammed into a scooty rider, leaving him critically injured. The scooty rider has been identified as Jogia, a resident of Puranigudam Potharol Charali. He has been admitted to a hospital in Nagaon.The registration number of the i10 involved in the accident is AS 02 R 4321, and the scooty’s number is also reported as AS 02 R 4321. According to local witnesses, the car was coming from Tezpur. The occupants were returning after dropping off six family members at the airport for a 5:00 PM flight to Chennai.The collision happened while the car was heading toward Guwahati after entering Nagaon. The scooty rider lost control while trying to stop and overturned . He was initially rushed to the Maikhuli hospital for treatment.
