A horrific road accident occurred on Wednesday in Padumani, Golaghat. The driver and handyman were seriously injured in the accident. After being admitted to Marty Kushal kob Hospital, the two injured were referred to another hospital due to their critical condition. People present there said that the coal-laden truck, coming from Tinsukia, lost control and overturned at a speed breaker. The truck’s number was LL 07 884668. Police from Golaghat were present at the same time. It was also revealed that the incident occurred around 12 noon. According to them, the truck was travelling between rest Home and a shope.
