A tragic road accident occurred between Kuchgaon and Kanchanpur in Rupohighat. A family was visiting guests for dinner. The collision occurred between an e-rickshaw and a two-wheeled vehicle. The four-year-old son of Sabdhan Hussain of Uttarghat, Majhidul Islam, died. According to reports, the child fell from the e-rickshaw while sitting on the bike. There people rushed to Rupohi Model Hospital, but the child could not be saved. The e-rickshaw was registered with the number AS 31 ER3045 and the bike with the number AS 02 AU 6663. Reports indicate that the e-rickshaw was coming from the wrong direction. It is also known that the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Eventually, Rupohighat police took the e-rickshaw driver into custody.
