Cattle theft has occurred once again in Bongaigaon. In front of the North Salmara Police Station, the public intercepted a truck packed with cattle. Smugglers had skillfully hidden 16 cows inside the truck by constructing a makeshift plywood hut. Local residents narrowly escaped being hit by the vehicle, which bears the registration number AS25FC4396. The truck was intercepted at approximately 11:00 PM. It was completely filled withplywood, with about 16 cows concealed in the middle. The vehicle was subsequently seized at the Abhayapuri Police Station.
