Fire Incident at Balikuchi Satra Meeting A major fire broke out during a meeting at the Balikuchi Satra. While the markets were more crowded than the roads, people struggled to survive and escape a potential severe disaster. The fire caused extensive damage to two shops. The incident occurred while the Balikuchi Satra Sabha, situated between Darrang and Kamrup, was in progress. The fire started suddenly when a cylinder exploded in a fast-food shop during the assembly. Two shops were severely destroyed in the blaze. Amidst the panic, locals managed to work together and successfully extinguished the fire.
