Severe Road Accident in Laharighat Due to Bridge Collapse .A major road accident occurred in Laharighat following the collapse of a bridge. Four people were injured in the incident, all of whom are reportedly residents of the area above Laharighat Lalibil. The accident took place at the newly constructed bridge in Lalibil, situated on the Laharighat-Morigaon-Kumjogi-Gorakhpatni road.The injured individuals—identified as Gulzar Hussain, Mustafa Ahmed, Enamul Haque, and Farul Ahmed—were initially rushed to the Laharighat Mahatma Gandhi Model Hospital. After receiving preliminary treatment, doctors referred them to Nagaon Hospital for further care.According to local residents, the accident was caused by the negligence of the contractor, Mahmad Ali. Locals alleged that the bridge collapsed because the construction workers did not execute the work properly, leading to this unfortunate event.
