Striking allegedly took ₹1.26 lakh from a man in Faridabad district under the pretext of solving some domestic problems. Police arrested the two men, both from Rajasthan and Delhi. One of them is a 10th-grade graduate and the other a BA graduate. Priyanka, a resident of Dabua Colony, filed a complaint with the NIT Cyber Police Station. She also stated that while browsing Instagram, she saw a scammer offering her medicine to solve household problems. She called the number provided. The scammer then lured her with promises of solving her problems and defrauded her of ₹1.26 lakh. Cyber police, acting on the woman’s complaint, arrested Karan and Abhishek, both from the village of Ganhdu in Hanumangarh district, Rajasthan, in Delhi. During interrogation, it was revealed that they were friends and defrauded people by creating fake Instagram accounts. Police are investigating the matter and are also investigating whether anyone else is involved.
