The Sotia Police have successfully re-arrested Gezeng Norwa Than Dak. The notorious drug dealer was previously caught by the Sotia Police Station with drug containers. During a checking operation, Sotia Police seized approximately six containers.According to the Sotia Police, they managed to apprehend a husband and wife during a ‘Naka’ checking. During the search, they identified the individuals, one of whom is a Head Constable of the 3rd IRBN (Arunachal Pradesh). The couple used drugs together. They were caught with six containers of drugs while checking in the Itakhola direction, after which they were taken into custody at the Sotia Police Station.During the morning hours, while the police were performing their routine duty of cleaning the lockup, both suspects managed to escape. The police immediately succeeded in re-arresting Mrs. Than Dak, but her husband could not be caught at that time. Continuing their search operations, the police were finally able to take Gezeng Norwa Than Dak back into custody during a checking operation in Shillong.
